Review: BEAST

BEAST BEAST by L. Grubb
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was initially introduced to Lucii's writing through her MC novels, but was given this one for an honest review. Obviously, this is different from what I am used to but was extremely surprised with how well she nailed it.

Beast is a MMA fighter, a man who cares for nothing and no one, until he meets a fellow MMA fighter by the name of Carlotta. There was certainly no love at first sight with these two and there is a fierceness to both of them that we learn is from their harsh upbringings.

The love story between these two is unconventional, but extremely passionate and I love how real the story comes across. There is a reality to these characters that keeps you hanging on until the end, just to find out how it all ends.

I am not one for spoilers, but would highly recommend this book to anyone, it was well worth the read and I look forward to seeing what Lucii publishes next.

Review: Trinity

Trinity Trinity by M. Never
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second novel that I have had the privilege of reading for M Never and once again I am extremely grateful!!
This is a male/male/female book and o.m.g what a ride........
Can I just mention, that it's probably not the best idea to read this one on public transport!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it, but the man next to me might have been a little shocked.... LoL

In Trinity we are introduced to Jennifer, a girl managing a run down restaurant / bar when she meets Shane and Chase. These two boys just happen to visit Jennifer's place of business on the night of her bestfriends combined hens / bucks night that she has planned.

Initially she misinterepts the relationship between Chase and Shane, until she ends up spending one night of passion with them both.

This is a highly sexual driven story that will knock the socks off you and have you sitting on the edge of your seat wanting to finish it. There isn't a scene in it that will disappoint, but it's not just all about the sex. What I loved about this story was the diversity of it. M not only writes a steamy sex scene, but she also tells a compeling story and that's what will keep me coming back for more.

It is an unconvention love story, but also a fantastic read and one you shouldn't miss.

Review: Six

Six Six by James Crow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say, but wow! This novel which I believe is James's debut, is a must read.
It delves into the world of BDSM, and in an explicit sense but was extremely well written and intriguing.
What I loved about it was how it captured my attention, it was a book that I had to finish because I wanted to find out where the story lead.

I started this story meeting Emma Jane, a rich girl whose daddy is marrying her off to double the family fortune. When her aunt surprises her with a trip to escape the pressures of planning her wedding she jumps at it. Soon enough though she discovers the the plans her aunt has shared with her mother and what she has actually organised are two different things.

Fast forward to Jonathon, a man selling what he calls 'experiences'. An opportunity for his clients to pretty much explore their inner most dirtiness, to release their inhibitions. Everything about what he does and offers, is a carefully constructed plan, until Client number six walks through his doors.

Every little thing about the storyline and the characters is well constructed and written. It's hard to believe that this is a debut novel for James Crow and I will be looking out for his next instalment.

A must read!!

Review: Hawk

Hawk Hawk by Jo Raven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After being given the opportunity to review Caught - the prologue to this book, I greedily jumped at the chance to review Hawk for Jo Raven.

Have you ever had one of those books that just grabs you from the start? Well if not, go out and buy this one, because it will have you addicted from the very beginning!!

In the prologue we were introduced to Layla, a girl whose ex boyfriend decided he would choose a very public restaurant to break up with her - citing his reasoning as her being 'frigid'. That's where the very (sounding) Jamie 'Hawk' Fleming enters our little scenario! After over hearing what happens, he steps in to be the knight in shining armour.... thus leading to a relationship of no strings sex.....

Now to get to Hawk! This is a story that carries on from Storm, but one that can be read as a stand alone. In 'Storm' we learn of an organisation that Storm, Hawke and Rook's parents are aligned with and that our three boys are trying to escape.

To begin this story, we enter to learn that Hawk has been kidnapped - intentionally, by the organisation to draw out more information for the police. Needless to say things don't go to plan and he finds himself in a position that he hadn't counted on. Then enter Layla - Hot Body, who just happens to be visiting the warehouse owned by her father, that Hawk is being held hostage in.

This is a story full of suspense, action and of course hot sex!!

I'm not one who likes to give away spoilers but what I will say is that you will not be disappointed, it really is a well written story that will keep you on your toes until the very last word.

I would highly recommend this to anyone :)

Review: Caught

Caught Caught by Jo Raven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, what can I say about this one?

I was gifted Caught by Jo Raven for an honest review and once again she produced a book, or more so a novella that had me engrossed until the end. I won't deny that I was a little disappointed when it ended, until I remembered that it was to prologue to another awesome Jo book that I was about to receive.

This is very different from the Inked Brotherhood Series and a fantastic variation to her writing style that I really enjoyed...... and now it's time for me to read Hawk!!

Don't take my word for it, grab this one as you will not regret it xx
