This memory is a favourite of mine because all three of my girls are happy  It was from Xmas 2016 when we took the kids to Albany, Western Australia.

““Do you remember the day you and I decided to steal apples from the trees in Mr Brookston’s orchard?” The sound of Penny’s soft, silky voice quizzes. When I nod, in acknowledgement she starts again. “Do you remember what happened? Opening my eyes, Penny’s face is so close I could almost kiss her. “Of course I remember. You tried to climb one of them, but it was too spiky. You fell from it, hitting your head on the stump of the tree below.” I sadly recount.
