Ocean by Jo Raven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was gifted Ocean by Jo Raven for an honest review and I am happy to say it did not disappoint!
Let's set the landscape for you....... Welcome to Damage Control, a tattoo shop where the each of the boys who work here, have had something tragic happen in their lives that a one point in time, sets them on a path of self destruction. In this particular instalment we meet Ocean Storm (I know right!! Who in their right mind calls their child that??) a tormented soul who had his brother placed in the care of his aunt to give him a better life. After attempting to save his brother, he finds himself living on the streets until Zane, a member of the inked brotherhood finds him and gives him a reason to live. All seems to be going well for him until his mother gets sick.......... (there's a twist here that you have to discover for yourself!)
We then meet Kayla, a girl who believes in her tarot card, tea leaves and palm reading. All Kayla wants to do is read Ocean's palm, but he won't let her. She knows something is wrong but he won't let her in. Ocean believes that if she knows about his past and what he has done, she will want nothing to do with him. He doesn't believe he can give her what she needs.
I love these kinds of romance books, the ones where it takes that one special something for our boy and girl to find their way into each others hearts. This story is no different and it makes you feel for them both. (I think Jo just likes to torture them :) )You can't help but feel their pain and root for them to make it through.
Every instalment to the inked brotherhood just gets better and better and I am looking forward to whatever Jo delivers us next.
I loved this story and Ocean and you will too xx

Blog Tour - Cocky F@#ker Misti Murphy
Title: Cocky F@#ker
Author: Misti Murphy
Genre: Romance
I came home to Reverence to start over, not to cozy up to Chelsea F*cking Taylor. Again.
My brother’s ex should have been off-limits, but she wasn’t. Not when we were teens. Not when I
married her. And definitely not now.
I thought after I walked away from her in Vegas we were done. I was wrong. This time my brother
isn’t getting in the way of what I want. I’m going to fight for her, fight for us.
The girl f*cking loves me, she just doesn’t know it yet.
Friends, lovers, enemies, and now…
To say our relationship is complicated would be an understatement.
Damaged, demanding, a verifiable prick, Mace Hadley is my biggest mistake, but that didn’t stop the
former marine from getting back into my panties the night he arrived home.
It was supposed to be one last screw you. Except he’s in my face each chance he gets, between my
legs at every opportunity.
I’m not sure how long I can fight him when I still haven’t gotten over him. But I’ll go down swinging.
If I give him my heart and he leaves me behind again, it’ll break me. But that’s not the worst part.
I’m having the cocky f@#cker’s baby.

Misti Murphy is a sadistic b*tch who loves to emotionally torture fictional people. If she did that in real life she’d probably end up in prison or a psych ward so she prefers to create dirty talking alphas and the sexually frustrated women who fall into their beds. And if someone needs to be smacked upside the head before f*cking turns to love then that makes her very happy indeed.
She’s a huge believer in flaws making us human, and that not everyone likes bacon. She’s also addicted to chocolate and scared of the effects of the coming shortage. She swears like a f*cking trooper, and thinks that graphic smuttiness should be as real in fiction as it is in real life.
When she’s not writing she’s the perfect housewife and mother. Ha bloody ha! When she’s not writing she’s hiding in a cupboard with her kindle, scoffing chocolate, and stalking facebook.

COVER REVEAL - BESTSELLING AUTHOR M. ROBINSON - CRAVE ME
COVER REVEAL
CRAVE ME
BESTSELLING AUTHOR M. ROBINSON
COVER MODEL MITCH MCKERSIE
COVER DESIGN THE FINAL WRAP
RELEASE MAY 10TH
SYNOPSIS
They say in order to find yourself you have to go home.
What if home was what you're running from?
Where did that leave you?
Always on the other side of the fence.
Always looking in.
Always wishing you were someone you couldn't be.
Until one day you meet her.
The one.
She was my high, but she was also...
My demise.
EXCERPT
Colors blended together making it hard to focus on one thing. I blinked a few times and just like that…
I saw her face.
As if she was standing right in front of me.
Smiling.
Happy.
Laughing.
My whole world…My girl.
I felt my lips curl up slightly at the vision as I reached out for her. Wanting to touch her, needing to hold her, yearning to kiss her. Craving, God, craving to fucking love her.
"I’m sorry," I murmured out loud to no one but the illusion of my drug-infested mind. "I’m so fucking sorry," I repeated repentantly, longing for her to believe me.
Aching for her to love me again like she used to.
I don’t know how long I sat there, staring at her beautiful face before my eyes, subconsciously rubbing the tattooed key that was placed over my heart. I couldn’t take it anymore, and the desire won over the haze.
It was too powerful.
It was too vivid.
I grabbed my phone. "Baby," I said into the speaker. The ringing quickly followed, going straight to voicemail. I hung up and tried again. "Baby," I urged with desperation in my tone.
Still nothing.
I tried again and again and again.
I would try until the end of time if that’s what it took for her to answer.
To talk to me.
To save me.
To crave me.
Time just seemed to standstill, as my life slowly played out in front of me. Trying to balance in between the light and the darkness when all I could see was gray.
"What?!" she screamed into the phone, finally answering after I don’t know how many failed attempts. "What the hell do you want now?"
"Mi cielo." I breathed a sigh of relief.
She ignored my term of endearment. I hadn’t called her that in such a long time.
My heaven.
"What do you want, Austin? Why are you calling me? We’re over! I can’t do this anymore!"
I shut my eyes and let my mind wonder, allowing it to go to another place in time where she didn’t hate me.
"I remember the first time I made you smile," I chuckled, as if it had just happened.
My nerves were on fire. The mere sound of her breathing through the phone was too intense for me. I licked my lips, my mouth suddenly dry.
"I remember when you used to smile just for me. Do you remember, baby? Do you remember what my love feels like?"
I heard her faintly breathing.
"Do you remember my hands on you? My lips? My tongue? The first time I made you come with my mouth? Do you remember all the times since? Tell me I’m not forgotten. Tell me you remember, baby."
Silence.
"I love you, Briggs. I love you so fucking much. You’re killing me, don’t you see that? I’m dying without you."
"No, Austin. You were dying with me," she rasped, knowing that it killed her to say that.
"The first time I saw your face, I thought to myself, damn, this beautiful girl is goin’ to be the death of me. You were perfect in every way. I was a cocky son of a bitch who needed you then, as much as I need you now."
More silence.
"I had a dream about you, baby. I always fucking dream about you. In my dream you had a ring on your finger. A ring I put there. You belonged to me. Only mine. Forever fucking mine. You were pregnant, Briggs. You looked so goddamn happy. I saw light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in years."
She sniffled into the phone.
"I made love to you. Slow, just the way you love. Taking my time to touch every last inch of your body. Memorizing every last bit of you. Making you come until you begged me to stop. I didn’t."
"I can’t—" she tried to interject, but I didn’t let up.
"I kissed your stomach. Our baby. Letting my lips linger there, whispering sweet lullabies, letting her know daddy will always be there. Baby, it was so real. For a second I gave you the one thing you so desperately wanted, the one thing I can’t give you."

Review: Good Enough
Good Enough by Taryn Steele
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I was gifted this book by Taryn Steele for an honest review and I want to be honest, and admit that this one challenged me.
The storyline itself was quite complex and very compelling, but it is how it was conveyed that I struggled with. It is written in the first person, where we meet Hillary, a girl who hasn't been given an opportunity to exactly know what it is like to be truly loved. Apart from her father, she lives in loveless family environment where her mother treats her more like a boarder than a daughter. Craving that affection and love, Hillary finds herself in an abusive relationship which once ended has an impact on how she believes people see her. It is a very enthralling story and you feel for her and what she has had to endure.
When she reconnects with Jameson, a boy she went to school with, you watch as she struggles to believe that she is worthy of his love. Her self-doubt in herself is evident and very heartbreaking to read. This is a cliff hanger though, so this book leaves you wondering how it will all play out for her.
I loved the concept of the storyline and it has the potential to be an amazing novel, I just struggled with how it was written in different areas.
For a debut novel, I do believe it was worthy of four stars, because there was some much heart put into creating such a heart warming story.

To Vent or not to Vent!!
I don't classify myself as a bitchy person, generally I love interacting with others, especially people I can't readily meet face to face. I try not to get upset over stuff that I can't control, but I go out of my way to promote and support others regardless of whether it is done for me in return.
I like meeting new people, especially other authors, bloggers and of course readers! I think the support should be welcoming by all, not just a select few. We are all trying to accomplish the same thing and we should be encouraging of each other, not trying to tear each other down.
Our stories are all different, some better than others, but all different. There are people out there trying to rip other authors off, but generally what I have found is honest genuine people who just want to share their stories.
I am one of those, my stories may need polishing (thats what my new editor is for :) ) but I just want to share them with the world and hope they enjoy them as much as I do. I love storytelling, always have!!
I also love to read, and am a serial stalker of many other authors.
What hurts me the most is the bitching and backstabbing I have witnessed. I whole heartedly agree with something written by one of the authors I follow recently, when she wrote about authors also having feelings. Yes we do have them and no we don't like it when people treat us badly. We all have different interpretations of things and I agreed with that author's post for a completely different reason to what she may had intended.
Some of us just want to come out and play, and be accepted, not seen as a threat or competition. Not everyone who reads our stories will like them, but they have to right to like as many different authors as they choose. I personally follow many authors, in many different genres. That comes back to my love of reading.
Just clearing my thoughts :)

Review: Prick Tease
Prick Tease by Misti Murphy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I think I may be a little addicted to Misti's books!!
This is the second book I have read of the Hadley series and once again I was hooked!! I love the way Misti creates her stories and her characters. she has a way of drawing us into their stories and keeping us enthralled until the very end.... something I look for when looking for new authors to follow.
When you start this story you meet Claire Hadley, the only girl in a family dominated by alpha males hell bent on protecting her. Then we meet Razor Bennington, her brother Mace's best friend and a boy who was taken in by her parents when he was a child.
There is a fierce loyalty that Razor feels for the Hadley family that stops him from pursuing the one thing he wants....... Claire
To him she is supposed to just be his little sister, a girl he grew up with, but she isn't and that's not how he sees her. For Claire the attraction is the same, except she feels that he hates her for what she did seven years prior. Just before he joined the marines and disappeared.
Coming home to Reverence, Claire leaves behind a cheating fiancé in the hope of clearing her head. Their image was supposed to be one of innocence, but he ruined that when she caught him with another woman. When Razor helps her after she becomes stranded on the side of the road, her life takes a turn she never envisioned.
I loved the story line and the struggle these two went through to find their way to each other. It's a wonderful story and a must read!

Review: Cocky F@#ker
Cocky F@#ker by Misti Murphy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book by Misti Murphy has it all, sex, hate, love, you name it, she gives it to you in her new book Cocky F@#ker!!
I was gifted this as an advanced copy for an honest review and I loved it!!
There is nothing I love more than a cocky alpha male... I love the detail that goes into portraying their characters to make them appealing to us in every way. What makes it even better is a sassy assed woman bringing them to their knees...
Mace Hadley is an ex marine, suffering with guilt from something that happened during his last tour. He comes home to Reverence to start over and end something he should have done a long time ago............ his whatever relationship with Chelsea Taylor..... something that isn't as easy as it would appear.
Chelsea Taylor has always loved Mace Hadley, but he is arrogant and cocky!
This love story is full of emotion and lots of god damned secrets!! it's a rollercoaster ride that keeps you hanging on till the end. (I was even tempted to skip to the end to find out what happened, it had me that hooked!) It's definitely a story that has you getting frustrated at both Mace and Chelsea, where you want to bang their heads together!!
This is a fantastic story and a must read!!
